Page Load Metrics

Comprehensive performance monitoring that collects navigation timing, resource timings, and transfer size data. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize your website's speed.

Key Features

  • Navigation Timing: Track complete page load times and navigation metrics
  • Resource Timing: Monitor top 10 resource load times to identify slow assets
  • Transfer Size Tracking: Measure total data transfer for each page load
  • Trend Analysis: View performance trends across days and routes
  • Route-Level Aggregation: Compare performance across different URL paths

How It Works

Page Load Metrics automatically captures performance data using the browser's Navigation Timing and Resource Timing APIs. This data is sent to our servers where it's aggregated and visualized, helping you identify which pages and resources are impacting your site's performance.

Context Scope Control

Control which users or segments have page load metrics tracked:

  • Everyone: Track page load metrics for all users (default)
  • User: Track page load metrics only for a specific user ID
  • Segment: Track page load metrics only for a specific segment ID

Configure context scope in the Page Load Metrics settings to focus on specific user groups for performance analysis.

Use Cases

  • Identify slow-loading pages that need optimization
  • Monitor resource performance and find bottlenecks
  • Track performance trends over time
  • Compare load times across different routes
  • Focus performance monitoring on specific users or segments
  • Optimize data transfer and reduce bandwidth usage
